Wembley Golf Course is a purpose-built public golf facility that leads the nation in design and functionality to attract more than just golfers.

The vision to create this asset for the community comes from the Town of Cambridge who owns and manages the venue.

Recently awarded the WA Metropolitan Golf Facility of the Year for 2023.

Our Golf Courses

THE OLD COURSE

The Old Course dates back to 1932, when Walter Fox set out the initial eighteen holes.

Stretching to nearly 5,800 meters from the back tees, this par-72 course still features original routing and a number of dog legs.

THE TUART COURSE

The Tuart Course has evolved since the first nine was completed in 1959 and is slightly shorter than the Old Course.

Measuring a total of 5,372 meters from the back tees, this par-70 course features tighter fairways and water features on two holes.

Old Course Hole 13 🌳

They say 13 is unlucky... we say it`s just misunderstood. Sitting at 170m from the black tees, the 13th of the Old is a challenging Par 3.

A tip from PGA Associate, Michael Pentland: This hole plays straight into a prevailing breeze, with a bunker guarding the right side of the two-tiered green. Ensure to aim for the correct tier for an easier putt. It`s a hole that rewards smart club selection - as it usually demands an extra club or two than expected.

Bonus tip from General Manager, Jason Roach: Keep an eye on the tops of the trees behind the green to gain an idea of the breeze, as you might not feel the extent of it on the tee box.

Mark’s been a part of the WGC team for 2 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge from 18+ years at clubs like Joondalup Resort, Kennedy Bay, and Lake Karrinyup.

When he`s not on the job, he’s a full-time Uber Dad to his two daughters - between lacrosse games and music lessons, he somehow finds time for the occasional round of golf (every day if he could!). Off the course, he’s into British crime thrillers and watching his team, Man City, tear it up… although maybe not so much this season 😅
