Meet the New Face Driving Our Future Forward

Wembley Golf Course welcomes Nicole Martino as our new General Manager

Wembley Golf Course is thrilled to welcome Nicole back to the team!

Nicole’s journey with Wembley began in 2009 when she joined as a casual employee while pursuing a professional playing career. Today, she returns with extensive industry experience, fond memories of her time here, and a passion for seeing how the facility has evolved. Her top priority is to build strong connections with the team and our customers, with the goal of enhancing the overall experience at Wembley.

Over the past 16 years, Nicole has built a distinguished career as a PGA Professional, holding senior roles including Golf Manager at The Western Australian Golf Club, Operations Manager at Golf Management Australia, and six years at Marangaroo Golf Course. She currently serves on the PGA of Australia Vocational Members Council, becoming one of the first women to achieve this milestone, and was named the 2023 WA PGA Management Professional of the Year.

Nicole’s career began on the ALPG and Ladies Asian Golf Tour before transitioning into a PGA traineeship and Golf Management, driven by her passion for learning. She has since completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in Sport Management and earned the Certified Club Manager designation through the Club Management Association of America.

Her love for golf started at age 11 in the junior program at Royal Fremantle Golf Club, where sibling rivalry sparked a lifelong passion for the game. Today, Nicole still enjoys playing golf and supporting her two children in their sports, both of whom have recently taken up golf themselves.

We are delighted to welcome Nicole back to Wembley Golf Course and look forward to the experience, leadership, and vision she brings to our future.
