Wembley Golf Course is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Australian Golf Foundation Junior Girls Scholarship Program.
This scholarship is open to girls aged 9 to 16 years, with only six spots available. Now in its fifth year at Wembley, the program provides a fantastic opportunity for young girls to:
- Develop their golf skills
- Build confidence
- Enjoy the sport in a supportive and professional environment
The Australian Golf Foundation Junior Girls Scholarship Program is a national initiative designed to encourage more young girls to get involved in golf. It caters to both beginners and those with some experience. In 2025, a record 1,432 girls participated nationwide, highlighting the growing popularity of golf as an inclusive sport for young females.
Program Details:
- Coaching: Weekly sessions with PGA Professional Claire Elvidge
- Day and Time: Wednesdays at 4:00 PM during school terms
- Each participant receives a shirt, cap, and glove
