Synchronising Your Body and Arms

If you struggle to hit a ball consistently, you should check your body and arms synchronisation.

Many golfers hit a slice because of something called “Chicken Wing”. This problem is coming from your desire to hit a ball straight and pulling your arms too close to the club face. Refer to images 6, 7.

A drill you can try to fix this is to put a ball between your arms, keeping them together on the way back. If you feel like the ball in between your arms is falling, that means you are slowing your body speed and increasing your hand speed. Refer to images 1, 2, 4, 5. Not only does this exercise help to improve your follow-through swing, but this practice will benefit your backswing too.

It is a very simple and effective way to improve your body and arm connection.
