Wembley Golf Course is a purpose-built public golf facility that leads the nation in design and functionality to attract more than just golfers.

The vision to create this asset for the community comes from the Town of Cambridge who owns and manages the venue.

Recently awarded the WA Metropolitan Golf Facility of the Year for 2023.

Our Golf Courses

THE OLD COURSE

The Old Course dates back to 1932, when Walter Fox set out the initial eighteen holes.

Stretching to nearly 5,800 meters from the back tees, this par-72 course still features original routing and a number of dog legs.

THE TUART COURSE

The Tuart Course has evolved since the first nine was completed in 1959 and is slightly shorter than the Old Course.

Measuring a total of 5,372 meters from the back tees, this par-70 course features tighter fairways and water features on two holes.

Meet the newest member of our team, Nick Kinley, who has taken on the role as our Golf Course Superintendent after nearly 12 years at Hartfield GC.

With over 25 years in the greenkeeping industry, Nick brings a wealth of experience, a love for the outdoors, and a passion for course presentation.

Originally from NZ and a Perth local since age 8, Nick’s greenkeeping journey began at The Vines and even included a brief stint at Wembley in the early 2000s. Now, he’s back and ready to lead our amazing team of greenkeepers.

To celebrate, we thought we`d introduce you to two of our amazing admin staff, Sophie and Georgia. Sophie, our administration officer, joined us in June, 2024 and has slowly but surely been working on her golf game when she`s not at the beach or playing Switch Golf. Georgia, our events and marketing officer, has been with us for almost 5 years - you might recognise her from the Pro Shop! When she`s not at work, she`s practising her swing or enjoying a good book. 📖

If you see either of them around WGC, make sure to say hello! Our team wouldn`t be the same without them ☺️

Wembley Golf Course is thrilled to share that we will be extending our operating hours so that we will remain open until 9:00pm Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays) from September through to May!

From June to August, we will be closing at 8:00pm for the winter months 🥶

Hopefully, this gives you all more time to enjoy our fantastic driving range and mini golf course! ⛳
