Applications Open for the 2025 Australian Golf Foundation Junior Girls Scholarship Program<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Wembley Golf Course is thrilled to announce the opening of applications for the 2025 Australian Golf Foundation Junior Girls Scholarship Program. This scholarship is open to girls aged between 9 and 16 years, with only six spots available<\/strong>. The program, now in its fourth year at Wembley, offers a fantastic opportunity for young girls to develop their golf skills, build confidence, and enjoy the sport in a supportive and professional environment.<\/p>\n

The Australian Golf Foundation Junior Girls Scholarship Program is a national initiative aimed at encouraging more young girls to get involved in golf. The program introduces the sport to beginners and offers development opportunities for those with some experience. In 2024, a record number of 1,190 girls took part in the program, which represents a significant increase in engagement and reflects the growing popularity of golf as an accessible and inclusive sport for young females.<\/p>\n

Over the course of the 2025 program, participants will receive coaching from PGA Professionals on Wednesday afternoons at 4pm throughout the school year, spanning four terms. Additionally, they will receive a shirt, cap and a glove.<\/p>\n
