Our team closely\u00a0monitors\u00a0turf health each day and adjusts maintenance practices to ensure playing surfaces\u00a0remain\u00a0smooth, firm, and consistent.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, we completed&nbsp;mini\u2011tining&nbsp;of the greens, a light aeration practice that encourages stronger turf and improved playing conditions. This process enhances airflow and water infiltration, helping the grass stay healthy during peak summer stress.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Smart Water Use<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective water management is one of our top priorities over summer. Rather than overwatering, we focus on\u00a0watering smarter, which includes:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Regularly adjusting irrigation settings to suit current weather conditions\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hand\u2011watering localised dry areas instead of watering entire sections\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applying products that help the soil\u00a0retain\u00a0moisture for longer\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Replacing only the water the turf loses each day\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This approach supports healthy turf while minimising unnecessary water use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mowing and Course Presentation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As temperatures rise, turf growth accelerates. To stay on top of this, we:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Increase mowing frequency to\u00a0maintain\u00a0smooth, high\u2011quality playing surfaces\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Keep mower blades sharp to reduce stress and tearing of the grass\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pay close attention to overall course presentation\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This includes edging pathways and&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;clean lines around lakes and key features.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bunkers and High\u2011Wear Areas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout summer, we continue to improve areas that experience the highest traffic, including:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintaining bunkers through edging, sand levelling, and weed control\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Repairing worn pathway walk\u2011off areas with new turf\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These works improve both playability and the overall appearance of the course.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supporting Strong Turf<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To help the turf withstand summer heat, we apply fertilisers and soil treatments that promote strong root development.
