Stage 1 - MasterPlanThe Town of Cambridge has commenced on a $12 million upgrade of facilities at Wembley Golf Course. Work started in May 2009 with a completion date of April 2010
Work on Stage 1 includes
- new 80 bay driving range with fully automated ball delivery system
- new excellence centre including state of the art teaching facility and sports medicine/physiotherapy
- new short game areas
- new buggy shed with a capacity for 80 carts
- new pro shop
- new piazza area creating alfresco seating for 200 plus patrons
- new entry road into the complex and the creation of an additional 80 car parking bays
There is no disruption to either the Old or Tuart Course during the construction work, and the existing driving range is open for business as normal
