Stage 1 - MasterPlan

The Town of Cambridge has commenced on a $12 million upgrade of facilities at Wembley Golf Course. Work started in May 2009 with a completion date of July/August 2010.

Work on Stage 1 includes;

  • new 80 bay driving range with fully automated ball delivery system
  • new excellence centre including state of the art teaching facility and sports medicine/physiotherapy
  • new short game areas
  • new buggy shed with a capacity for 80 carts
  • new pro shop
  • new piazza area creating alfresco seating for 200 plus patrons
  • new entry road into the complex and the creation of an additional 80 car parking bays

There is no disruption to either the Old or Tuart Course during the construction work.

 

Building work on the Golf Shop and new Piazza area is progressing well. Once completed the Golf Shop will be one of the largest in Perth, and the Piazza area will provide great outdoor seating options with views across the Tuart Course.
